Zephyr Hats: Louisville Edition

Another team/college-oriented post; this weeks: The Louisville Cardinals! This is part of a series that included AuburnBYUCUDetroit Red WingsEdmonton OilersFlorida GatorsGeorgia Tech, and HawaiiIowa, the "J" Edition, Kentucky, and Kansas.

The Blockbuster 2 snapback design goes extremely well with Louisville. These two-tone, square-brimmed, green under-brimmed snapbacks have contrast button and eyelets, as well as one-colred snaps. Love this snapback.
The Louisville Refresh snapback is another two-tone snapback with contrast eyelets and button. The traditional Cardinal logo is used on the front with raised embroidery; the script "Ville" above the snap is raised embroidered too. The snap is dual-colored with red and black. Other features worth noting are its square brim and green under-brim. A similar design to this is the Xline Refresh snapback from Zephyr. The Xline Refresh series features an exclusive Zephyr design; in this case, a Cardinal with a snapback.

To the right is a Louisville White Upshot. These are different from the original in that they feature an all white colorway, as well as grey under-brims instead of green. Otherwise, the same stunning Upshot design is display across the front of the crown. Square brims, white snaps, and raised embroidery are some other qualities that stand out about this design. David Gormley, President of Zephyr, said this: "Summer time is a great time to wear white. Thes white upshots are made in 100% cotton and really stand out on the shelf. These just landed today and will be on a shelf in a store near you soon."

To the left is the Cardinals Shadow Script snapback. A few note-worthy qualities are it's contrast button and eyelets, as well as the raised, cursive script on the front that is accompanied with a shadow. To the right is the Louisville Superstar hat.

The Louisville Hype snapback is definitely a unique design! This four-eyelet snapback design has the typical square brim and green under-brim, but the contrast stitching on the bill is note-worth. Another characteristic is the white piping around the panel with the Cardinal. Piping is simply an embellishment done to give hats another look. The adjacent panel has the raise embroidered word "Louisville." The snaps for this design are solid.

Above is one of Zephyr's latest designs: The Front Runner. This two-tone design includes contrasting button and eyelets, square brims, green under-brims, and one-colored snaps. The raised-embroidered design on the front is backed by three lines; the middle of these lines highlights the word "Cardinals." Overall, this Louisville Front Runner is simple, yet extraordinary. There are not alternate logos or additional embroidery besides the design on the front and the patented "z" on the side.

Other designs that I did not include in this post include the two colorways for the Headliner (#1 and #2), and the Supersonic
